Department of Computer Science

Introduction

The Department of Computer has providing the computer courses for Junior college, Under graduate and Post graduate level. Junior college Information technology course has been started since 2000. Under graduate course has been started since 2004.

Post graduate course has been started since 2014. All these programs are affiliated to Sant Gagde Baba Amaravati University Amaravati and Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Educational Board. Department has well equipped laboratories and teaching learning tools.

Department has set up of 45 computers for UG lab and 20 computers for PG lab.Department has been working on permanent non-grant basis. All the computers of the department are connected to Broad Band Internet facility with access speed 10MBPS up to 2000GB.

The syllabus is framed by S.G.B. Amravati University as per the UGC guidelines for Semester Systems. Dr. G.K. Reddy is presently working as officiating head of department. This department provide healthy atmosphere, good scientific culture, educational values, moral & ethics, unity and maintenance of discipline so as to make them competent for learning and teaching activities and build up for national level integrity.
