Department of Political Science

Introduction

The Department of Political Science was established in 1960 and is permanently affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati. The department offers the UG & PG programme and is one of the core subjects. The P.G. department started functioning since 2015. The syllabus is framed by S.G.B. Amravati University as per the UGC guidelines for Semester Systems. The department has a good core library consisting of about 70 titles. The department is provided with desktop computer with Broad Band Internet facility. The department is presently headed by Prof. P. P. Dolas.
