Department of Sport

     The Department of Physical Education was established along with the establishment of the college in 1960. The first Director. Of physical Education Shri. V.K. Deshmukh took keen interest in development the departments and encouraged the students to take active part in Game & Sports organized by the University. Dr. S.N. Patil Principal after taking charge in 1986 personally looked into the activities of the Departments. He was a Member of the Board of studies ( Physical Education )He Started sports activities for the staff members also. Shri V.N. Telmore joined as Director, Of Physical Education in the college on 21th Jan. 1993 He was constantly worked hard for the developments in every possible field, He inspired and encourage Students and staff member to conduct different Game & Sports and other activities.

      In 1995 Inter collegiate Volleyball Competition was organized by the department. The department has the credit of 15 colour holders upto 2012-2013 in various games and sports. 17 boys and girls got placement in government and non- governmental organizations. Volleyball Competition was organized for the employees of Warud Taluka level. Inter collegiate employees Volleyball Competition was also organized for teaching and non-teaching staff of colleges and schools under the guidance of Dr. S. N. Patil.

     In 2009 Cross Country was organized in collaboration with Maitraya Bahuuddeshiy Mandal, Jarud. Golden Jubilee year was celebrated in the same year. From 2013-2014 we are organizing Shivaji Olympiad as per the directions of our parent society Shri Shivaji Education Society Amravati.
